Hadith of the day!
Basically this thread is to post a hadith (sayings by Prophet or Ahlulbait)each day.
Please note that unless the hadith is commonly known, you must provide reference(s)
InshAllah through this we will gain more knowledge about everyday life situations and about Ahlulbait and what they have done for us. Please post only hadith which have been originally narrated by our Ahlulbait (A.S) and not the enemies of Islam.
Wa'salam
Hadith of the day:
The narrator of the tradition says that he heard al-Imam al-Sadiq (A) saying that God Almighty said, "I am the best of friends; one who makes others My partners in any matter, his deeds are not acceptable to Me. I accept only those acts that are purely done for My sake."
Ibid., vol. 2, p. 450.

Imam Amir-ul-Mu'mineen Ali (as) said: "Having the Greatness of the Creator in your mind would make you realise the insignificance of the creatures in your view."
Imam Amir-ul-Mu'mineen Ali (as) said: "Lowering one's eyes will serve well as a barrier against one's passions."
It is narrated that Imam Jaafar as-Sadiq has said:
A believer's nature is to be patient in the face of
hardships.
