THE MOST IMPORTANT ASTRONOMICAL INCIDENTS OF THIS MONTH

Entering of the sun in the Aries will occur on the sixth of the month.
The lowest far distance between the earth and the moon will occur on the thirteenth of the month (357011 km)
Entering of the moon in the Scorpio will take place on the fifteenth of the month at 8:23.
Coming
out of the moon from the Scorpio and entering in the Sagittarius will
take place on the seventeenth of this month at 9: 45.
The most far between the earth and moon will occur on the twenty sixth of the month (406407 km.)

ON THE FIRST MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE: The
Prophet Idris (peace be upon him and our Holy Messenger) was lifted to
the heaven on the first of Muharram. He was sent as a Prophet after
Adam with two hundred years. Prophet Idris combined between the
prophethood and sultan as he settled in the mosque of Sahlah in the
holy city of Kufah.
AND ON THIS DATE: Sheikh Husain bun Abdu Samad Al-Hamadani Al-Aamuli Al-Jabaee, Sheikh Al-Bahai's father was born in year 918A.H.
AND ON THIS DATE: The lofty Sheikh Hasan bun Zainul Abideen the known as Shaheed Ath-Thani died in year 1011 A.H.. He was one of the Shia great figures.




ON THE SECOND OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE: Imam Husain (peace be upon him), his progeny and companions arrived at Karbala in year 61 A.H..
AND ON THIS DATE: The ascetic scholar Sheikh Waram bun Abi Firas died in Hillah in year 605 A.H. He is the author of Tanbihu Al-Khawaatir book.
AND ON THIS DATE: The lofty scholar Salman of his time Sheikh Husain Najaf At-Tabrizi died in year1251 A.H.. He was Imam for congregational prayer in Al-Hindi mosque at Najaf.




ON THE THIRD OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE: Umar bun Sa'ad arrived in Karbala on the third of Muharram with four thousand warriors to fight Imam Husain peace be upon him
AND ON THIS DATE:
Salvation of the Prophet Yusuf (peace be upon him) from the well
occurred in this month, when there came a travellers and they sent
their water-drawer and he let down his bucket and came out together
with the bucket.

AND ON THIS DATE: The Jurist and Theoretician in law Sheikh Musa bun Sheikh Hasan Ar-Rabee'ah Al-Ihsaee died in year 1289 A.H.. Verily, this scholar was high skilled in intelectual knowledges as well as researches in divination and sand.




ON THE FOURTH OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE: The virtuous scholar Sayyid Ali bun Sayyid Ismail Al-Musawi Al-Qazwini died in year 1298 A.H.




ON THE FIFTH OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE:
Moses(Kaleemu Allah)the Interlocutor of Allah crossed the sea in this
month when it had cloven asunder for him and Pharaoh and his army were
drown in it.
AND ON THIS DATE: The lofty scholar Sheikh Ahmed bun Ali Akbar Al-Muraghi died in year 1310 A.H. He died after he was affected by disease or epidemic which descended upon the people of Najaf at that time.




ON THE SIXTH OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE: Sayyid Ar-Radhi Mohammed bun Husain Naqib Al-Alawiyeen died in Baghdad in year 406 A.H. who gathered speeches of Imam Ali peace be upon him and named the book as (Nahjul Balagha).




ON THE SEVENTH OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE: It was on this date Almighty Allah spoke to His Prophet Musa son of Imran (peace be upon him) on the mountain.
AND ON THIS DATE:
Umar bun Sa'ad authorized Amr bun Al-Hajaj to take charge of guarding
the river Al-Alqami for preventing Imam Husain peace be upon him from
reaching to it.
AND ON THIS DATE: The expert scholar Sheikh Jafar son of Al-Hajj Mohammed bun Abdullah An-Naqdi died in year 1370 A.H. He was one of the well-verseds and skilled in literaries.




ON THE NINTH OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE:
Imam Husain (peace be upon him) was surrounded like a circle from all
sides by the horses of people of Sham. This was done with the
leadership of Umar bun Sa'ad.
AND ON THIS DATE: It was on this date Prophet (Yunus) Jonah (peace be upon him) came out from abdomen of the whale.
AND ON THIS DATE: Moses (Musa), John (Yahya) and Mary (Mariam) were born ( peace be upon all of them).
AND ON THIS DATE: The Sheikh of the reciters and narrators Sulaiman bun Mihran Al-A'amash was born in year 61 A.H.
AND ON THIS
DATE: The Jurist Reporter Muhammed bun Muslim Az-Zahri died in year61 A.H. whom is counted as one of the companions of Imam Al-Baqir and Sadiq peace be upon both of them.




ON THE TENTH OF MUHARRAM
"INNA LILLAHAY WA INNA ELAEHAY RAJE'OON"
AND
ON THIS DATE: The battle of Taf occurred in year 60 A.H. which resulted
killing the offspring and sweet basil of Mustafa, the Chief of the
youth of the paradise Imam Husain, his progeny and companions may the
blessing and peace of Allah be upon him. This incident occurred in year
61 A.H.
AND ON THIS DATE: The ascent worshiper and reporter Bishr bun Harith the known as Bishr Al-Haafi Al-Baghdadi died in year 226 A.H.
AND ON THIS DATE:
Muizu deen Ad-Dawlah commanded that places and markets must be closed
and hold a consolation gathering for Imam Husain bun Ali peace be upon
him, this happened in year352 A.H.

AND ON THIS DATE: Hulaku entered Baghdad, he who the Abbasids state collapsed in his hand in year656 A.H.
AND ON THIS DATE: The virtuous scholar and the ascent scholar Sheikh Husain bun Sheikh Mohammed Yahya died in year 1193
A.H. He studied at the scholars of his time such as Sayyid Bahrul Ulum and Sheikh Kaashif Al-Ghitaa.
AND ON THIS DATE:
The scholar of compilation and the virtuous skilled, Sheikh Zaheeru
deen Hasan bun Sheikh Ahmed Al-Muhsini Al-Ihsaee Al-Falahi died in year
1272 A.H.
AND ON THIS DATE: The righteous scholar Sayyid Jafar son of Sayyid Muhammed Ridha Al-Hazairi At-Tastari died in year 1393 A.H.. Indeed he was versed in biography and criticism of traditionist, research and Hadith as well.




ON THE ELEVENTH OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE:
Umar bun Sa'ad's soldiers matched the captives of the Holy Prophecy's
progeny - and descending place of inspiration (peace be upon them) -
from Karbala to Kufah. They were matched while they were tied up with
ropes like captivity of Turk and Dailam.
AND ON THIS DATE: The righteous scholar Sheikh Husain son of Al-Mirza Muhammed Ash-Shirawani Al-Qumi died in year 1336 A.H. He immigrated to Najaf for seeking knowledge, then returned back to Tehran and started religious activities.




ON THE TWELVE OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE: Safiyud-Deen Is'haq Al-Ardabili died in year 735 A.H.. He is one of the sons of Imam Musa Al-Kazim (peace be upon him). As he is also one of the grandfathers of the Safawids.
AND ON THIS DATE: The lofty scholar Sheikh Abdul Husain Mubarak Aal Mu'abbar Al-Jazairi died in year 1364 A.H.. This scholar was one of those known with God fearing and rightness.




ON THE THIRTEENTH OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE: Sadru-Deen Muhammed bun Sayyid Saleh Al-Aamuli Al-Isfahani died in year 1263 or 1264 A.H.




ON THE FOURTEENTH OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE: The lofty scholar Sheikh Jamalu deen bun Muhammed Husain An-Naeeni1397A.H..
He learnt in Najaf and then returned to Naeeni and occupied him self
with religious and scientific affairs till the day he died.




ON THE FIFTEENTH OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE:
Khaibar was captured by Imam Ali bun Abi Talib peace be upon him during
the time of the Holy Prophet may the blessing and peace of Allah be
upon him and his pure progeny in the seventh year A.H.. But according
to Sheikh Al-Qummi's opinion the incident occurred on the 24 Rajab
AND ON THIS DATE: The most lofty Sayyid the owner of compilations and one of the significants of Shia sect Ibn Tawus Radhiyu Deen Ali bun Musa Al-Hilli was born in year 589 A.H.
AND ON THIS DATE:
The battle of Qarqaratu Al-Kidr occurred in the third year A.H..
Whereas the Holy Prophet came out to a place of both tribes of Salimah
and Gatfaan. The holder of the banner of that day was Ali bun Abi Talib
peace be upon him. He walked towards them and did not found any body
except shepherds. He then returned with blessings which was five
hundred camels.
Ibn Is'haq said, this battle occurred in Shawwal in the eighth year A.H.

ON THE SIXTEENTH OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE: Moslems (Qiblah) direction face in prayers changed from Jerusalem to the Holy Kaabah in the second year A.H.




ON THE SEVENTEENTH OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE: The punishment fell on the people of Elephant (soldiers of Abraha) when they wanted to destroy Kaabah.
AND ON THIS DATE: The skilled, learned, poet and grammarian Sheikh Al-Bahai Muhammed bun Husain Al-Aamuli was born in year 953 A.H.




ON THE EIGHTH OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE: Sheikh Haidar Qali Al-Kabuli was born in year 1293
A.H. This scholar was one of the philosophy scholars in his time known
with genius and insight expression. He was also versed in both modern
and old sciences.




ON THE NINETEENTH OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE: Ruknu Ad-Dawlah Al-Hasan bun Buwaihi died in year 366 A.H. at Rai. He is Ad-Du Dawlah Ad-Dailami's father.




ON THE TWENTIETH OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE:
Marriage ceremony of Fatimatu Zahra (peace be upon her) and the
Commander of Faithful Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him) completed
in the evening of this day in third year A.H.
AND
ON THIS DATE: Owner of compilations Sheikh of the sect Allamah
Al-Hilli Al-Hasan bin Yusuf bun Al-Mutahar died in year 726 A.H.




ON THE TWENTY FIRST OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE:
The example of the Shia jurists and founder of method of exertion and
absolute in jurisprudence and its principles Sheikh Abu Jafar Muhammed
bun Al-Hasan At-Tusi died in year460 A.H. (may good pleasure of God be
upon him). And he was buried in one of Najaf mosques and the mosque was
named by his name.




ON THE TWENTY SECOND OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE: Shah Husain As-Safawi was killed in Esfahan prison in year 1140 A.H. Who was buried close to Sayyidatu Fatimah Al-Masumah (peace be upon her) in the city of Qum.
AND ON THIS DATE: The righteous scholar Sayyid Mirza Saleh son of Sayyid Mahdi Al-Qazwini Al-Hilli died in year 1304 A.H.




ON THE TWENTY FOURTH OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE: The virtuous jurist Sayyid Abul Hasan ibn Ali Shah died in year 1313 A.H.. This scholar studied in Najaf and then returned back to India and continued teaching and writting.




ON THE TWENTY FIFTH OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE:
Imam Zainul Aabideen peace be upon him achieved martyrdom on this date
and was buried in Baqee'a. But another report says he died in on the
twelfth of Muharram in year95 A.H..
AND ON THIS DATE: The judge Muhsin bun Ali At-Tanukhi died in year 354 A.H. whom answered on ibn Al-Mu'taz poem which he formed concerning prides of Abbasids.




ON THE TWENTY SIXTH OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE:
Ali bun Al-Hasan Al-Muthalath son of Imam Al-Hasan Al-Mujtaba (peace be
upon him) died in prison of Al-Mansur Al-Abbasi in year 146 A.H.
AND ON THIS DATE: The complete ascent Mulla Abdullah bun Al-Hasan At-Tastari, student of Al-Muqadas Al-Ardabili died in Esfahan in year 1021 A.H.
AND ON THIS DATE: The virtuous scholar and reporter the jurist Al-Mawla Abdullah bun Al-Husain At-Tastari died in year 1021A.H. He was one of the close students of Al-Muqaddas Al-Ardabili.
AND ON THIS DATE: The righteous scholar Sheikh Muhammed Yahya bun
Sheikh Yahya son of the jurist Sheikh Qasim bun Muhammed bun Jawad died in year 1137 A.H.




ON THE TWENTY SEVENTH OF MUHARRAM
AND ON THIS DATE:
Soldiers of Sham entered in Madina with leadership of Al-Haseen bun
Nameer, they entered Madina with the intention of killing Ibn Zubair.
This incident occurred on a day called (Yawmul Hurrah) in year 64 A.H.






THE GENERAL INCIDENT OF MONTH OF MUHARRAM


The battle of Zaat Ar-Ruqaa'a occurred in the fourth year A.H.
Indeed, this battle was named as Zaat Ar-Ruqaa'a because it happened
near to a mountain contains types of colours such as black, white and
red in it. The reason of breaking out of this battle was that, a man
came from Madina and told companions of the Holy Prophet that, tigers
and foxes are gathered waiting for them, then the companions also told
the Holy Prophet about it (may the blessing and peace of Allah be upon
him and his pure progeny). He then gathered Moslems and came out on
saturday night after ten days of Muharram, but he did not found but
women, then he took them with him and returned back to Madina.
The banner of Shia and its Allamah Sheikh Hasan bun Yusuf bun Ali bun Muhammed bun Al-Mutahar Al-Hilli died in year 726 A.H.
Wahhabites surrounded Jeddah
once again in year 1219
A.H. This was when Ibn Shakban and Al-Mudhayifi came with twelve
thousand warriors to blockade Jeddah. But this blockade ended with
defeatness of Wahhabites.
The incident of the scholar, the jurist Sheikh Muhammed Husain son of Abbas Ali Al-Qazwini happened in year 1281
A.H.. He was one of the great theologian jurists of Najaf, he then
lived near to Karbala and became leader in this sacred city as well as
a big teacher and jurist consult who people do return to in their
Islamic laws.
The grammarian poet Sayyid Ibrahim bun Sayyid Husain Muhammed Ridha bun Muhammed Mahdi died in year 1319 A.H. He was one of poet laureate poets and expert grammarian in his time.
The lofty scholar Sheikh Baqir son of Sheikh Ali bun Muhammed Aal-Haidar Al-Bata'ihee died in year 1334
A.H. He learnt in Samaraa from the Renewer Ash-Shirazi then he moved to
Najaf. He returned back to a place called Suq Ash-Shuyukh and replaced
his father after his father's death.
The virtuous scholar Sheikh Hasan son of Sheikh Muhammed Hasan As-Saghir died in year 1345
A.H. He is skilled in science till he became one of professors in
jurisprudence and principle and took on leadership of scientific
movement in Najaf after his father.
The virtuous scholar Sheikh Abul Hasan bun Muhammed Al-Marandi died in year in year 1349
A.H. He studied in Najaf then he returned to Iran and settled at Rai
near to Sayyid Abdul Azim Al-Husaini (may God have mercy on him).
The jurist scholar Sayyid Ahmed bun Sayyid Muhammed Baqir Al-Bahbahani died in year1351 A.H.
Sayyid Ibrahim the known
as Mirza Aagha Al-Isfahani died in year 1380
A.H. He was one of the authority of imitations in Najaf as well as he
was one of those who perform congregational prayers in holy courtyard
of Imam Ali peace be upon him.
